Cambium was the first yo-yo developed under the MikeMonty brand. It was a handmade, one-piece wooden fixed axle yo-yo, named by Mike’s friend Ben.

Story notes
Cambium came after Roots and marked a shift into MikeMonty-branded yo-yos. The first batch was tiny: about nine made, with some sold and some given away. A later giveaway template described Cambium as the only fixed axle yo-yo Mike was producing at the time.
